According to a press release issued by the provincial prosecutor’s office of Madrid on December 7, the latter has reported three soccer players for alleged tax offenses and is investigating two more.<\/p>\n
The statement reads as follows:<\/p>\n
“<\/span>The public prosecutor’s office, as a result of the data sent by the Tax Agency, has filed a complaint against three taxpaying soccer players. In the same way, it keeps open investigation proceedings that affect two other soccer players liable for taxation.”<\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n The first ones would be, according to El Mundo, Xabi Alonso, Angel di Mar\u00eda and Ricardo Carvalho.
