Coronavirus: We still have not suspended the liquidation of taxes for the third quarter.

With the current crisis we are suffering, which is causing the paralysis of activity in many sectors, it would be desirable that the Ministry of Finance postpone the deadline for the settlement of taxes for the month of March (or the first quarter of the year, for companies that file quarterly returns).

So far, the Executive has approved two batteries of measures that do not contemplate any tax cuts or temporary suspension of taxes. Only six-month deferrals of income for a maximum of 30,000 euros for self-employed and SMEs, with interest accruing from the fourth month onwards.

With this stinginess and unwillingness to help those who sustain public spending, we will see how the economy can be sustained in the coming months, in which a recession with all its consequences is predicted.
