Several clients ask us if the immediate information system by which the Tax Agency intends to receive in real time all invoices issued by certain taxpayers (among others, those with a turnover of more than €6 MM) will come into force in 2017.
The reality is that the delay in its regulatory development has meant that the system will not come into force on January 1, 2017, as initially planned. However, the Agency has not desisted from this initiative, as evidenced by the fact that last Friday the Council of Ministers approved a Royal Decree providing for its implementation by July 1, 2017(boe-a-2016-11575).
